What is a Bohemia Identity ID?

Bohemia Interactive uses a unique identifier system for players in Arma Reforger. This Identity ID is derived from the player's Steam64 ID and is used for all server-side player management including bans, whitelists, and admin permissions.

Unlike Steam IDs which come in multiple formats, the BI Identity ID is a standardized 16-character hexadecimal string that's used consistently across all Arma Reforger servers.

Server Admin Uses

  • Ban Players - Add the ID to your banned_players.json to prevent troublemakers from joining
  • Whitelist - Create private servers by only allowing specific player IDs
  • Grant Admin - Add trusted players as server administrators
